Tallahassee Woman is a bimonthly magazine with information and entertainment for women and is distributed on a complimentary basis throughout the greater Tallahassee area.

Our mission is to capture the spirit of Tallahassee women who are devoted to living their lives to the fullest potential in their families, home, career, and community. We strive to provide features and articles that enrich women’s lives, and inspire women to live each day to the fullest.

Tallahassee Woman is a unique publication by women for women that covers the issues, trends, and the spirit of women that live, work, and play in our community. Every issue includes topics of interest such as family, career, fashion, business, home, health, trends, the arts, money, relationships, travel, food, and more that are selected to inform and entertain our readers as well as to enhance their lifestyle.

Where to find the magazine:

Tallahassee Woman can be found in hundreds of locations in and around Tallahassee. Copies can be picked up at  locations around Tallahassee that women often frequent, such as doctors’ offices, libraries, salons, spas, hospitals, fitness centers, hotels, banks, state office buildings, and retail establishments. Copies are also available at the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and through the Tallahassee Visitors Center. In addition, signature color distribution boxes are strategically placed throughout the readership area.

Kim Rosier (President and Publisher) Over ten years experience in print and digital media platforms. Over 20 years in the non-profit sector. Extensive experience in project management, writing, audience development solutions and research.

Heather Thomas

Editor

Before coming to work for Tallahassee Woman ten years ago, Heather was a high school educator for five years. All total, Heather has fifteen years of communication and media skills that range from writing, editing, marketing/public relations, event planning and public speaking. Heather is a former board member and a current Ambassador for Girls on the Run of the Big Bend, and serves on the board for the Foundation for Leon County Schools.

Jennifer Stinson

Advertising Sales Manager

Michelle Royster Hart is a life long Tallahassee resident who joined the Tallahassee Woman Team in 2016. She has a strong background in marketing and sales, and makes it a point to be give every client excellent service while assisting with their advertising needs.

Christy Jennings Ploch

Graphic Design

Christy Jennings Ploch began working with Tallahassee Woman Magazine in January 2010, after starting her own business Christy Jennings Creative in 2008. She is a design professional with two decades of experience in design and marketing. Christy has a strong background in fine arts and graphic design and uses her knowledge and skills to conceptualize fresh and innovative ideas that serve the unique needs of the client. Christy has worked in both the public and private sector, creating effective and award-winning print, branding, and Web design. From concept to creative, Christy leads the team with robust processes and strategic oversight to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

Cristi McKee

High School Intern

Cristi McKee is 16 years old and a rising junior in high school. She has loved writing her whole life, additionally serving as the Arts/Entertainment Editor for the FLVS Newspaper and as a member of the National English Honor Society. When she‘s not writing, she’s singing, outside, participating in church activities, playing mandolin and ukulele, spending time with her family and friends, or baking. In the future, she wants to major in Marketing in college and attend Duke University. As Editor of Tallahassee Teen, she hopes to inspire and motivate teens within the community.
